ARP Profile

Andy Roberts (IMA) studied at two of London’s most prestigious colleges, initially Graphics at Chelsea School of Art and later Photography at the London College of Printing. Having had his work purchased by renowned city art collector Stuart Lipton, he has also exhibited work at The Royal Festival Hall in London’s South Bank and St Martins in the Field in Trafalgar Square.

As a freelance photographer he has worked in an official capacity on black tie functions such as The Big Bang Ball at the Café Royal (one of the big socialite events of the year) and The Lord Mayor’s Ball at Hampton Court Palace. Covering corporate and charity functions at some of London’s top hotels, like The Dorchester and The Savoy, he has also been the official photographer for private functions at The Grosvenor Hotel, featuring performances from pop stars The Sugababes and has been the official royal photographer for HRH Princess Anne at a charity function.

Andy has been the official photographer at sporting dinners with speeches given by cricketer Graham Gooch, heavyweight world champion Frank Bruno and England World Cup winners Bobby Charlton, Jimmy Greaves and Alan Ball.

Having worked on hundreds of corporate entertainment events such as England RFU matches at Twickenham and Formula One at Silverstone. Andy can also be seen at Wentworth Golf Club (home of the Ryder Cup) photographing corporate and charity golf days and at the same venue as the official photographer for The London Footballers’ Golf Championship.

Andy has been selected as official photographer for the Soccer Six Celebrity events at Chelsea Football Club featuring a host of stars, including Ant and Dec, Rod Stewart, Jordan and Tara Palmer-Tomkinson and is official corporate photographer for South London’s biggest football club Crystal Palace.

As well as presentations at The South African Commission in Trafalgar Square, product and charity launches at prestigious venues across central London and awards at the BMW and Jaguar headquarters, Andy has a wealth of experience, you can rely on him to get the results you need every time.
